Looking after yourself and others in the hot weather

Monday the 25th was the hottest day of the year so far, with temperatures approaching 30C (86F) in some places. While today might be a little cooler, forecasts suggest a possible heatwave later in the week. So the local NHS would like to remind everyone about staying safe – and keeping an eye on your loved ones and neighbours – while it’s so warm.

Mid Essex CCG Annual Report and Accounts now online

The CCG's report on its activities through 2017/18 and what we spent to plan, buy and monitor your local healthcare is now available for you to read.

Each year, we produce our Annual Report and Accounts to explain how we have helped everyone in mid Essex to Live Well – and the funding used to do it.

Papers for next STP CCG Joint Committee meeting in public now online

The June meeting in public for the Mid and South Essex STP CCG Joint Committee has been rescheduled for Friday 15 June.

The meeting has been rescheduled after an issue with a venue meant the original date had to be changed. Next Friday's meeting is being held in the Maplin Room of Saxon Hall, on Aviation Way in Southend-on-Sea, and begins at 2.15pm.

Independent report on consultation responses published

An independent report looking at responses to the Your Care in the Best Place consultation has been published today (May 22 2018).

The report, produced by specialist consultation analysts, The Campaign Company, provides a breakdown of responses to proposals aimed at strengthening and improving health and care services in the community and in the three hospitals serving mid and south Essex.
