Adverse Weather Advice - Wednesday, February 28, 2018

Services at Mid Essex Hospital Services NHS Trust (MEHT) are operating as usual today and all patients are asked to please try to attend their scheduled appointments if it is safe to do so.

Please be advised that you may experience delays on arrival due to the disruption to our schedule caused by travel difficulties encountered by other patients.

Should you be unable to travel to your appointment, please call the outpatients appointment service on 01245 513900 to advise them. The telephone service is experiencing increased demand today and if you are unable to initially make contact with the team, please try again later.

The Phlebotomy Service at St Peter’s Hospital, Maldon, and St Michael’s Hospital, Braintree, will close at 2pm due to the adverse weather. In addition, the GP X-ray service at St Peter’s Hospital, Maldon, has been cancelled and all affected patients will be contacted.

For non-urgent medical advice please call NHS 111, speak to your GP or visit your local pharmacy. More information on local health services can be found here
