Youngsters from Tollesbury School have joined the CCG in supporting everyone to Live Well in mid Essex – by designing posters to promote healthy living.
The CCG was at the school earlier this month to hear from young people about their experiences of local healthcare. This is part of a programme to involve children, teenagers and families in the way the CCG plans and buys children's and young people's care in the future.
Part of the conversation with Tollesbury pupils focused on staying healthy and reducing everyone's need to use the NHS. The children shared their ideas on important messages about healthier lifestyles and then brought those ideas life by designing posters to help spread the Live Well message.
This poster promoting exercise and physical activity is by Florence and Dylan.
Another poster, by Jack and Ronnie, focuses on healthy eating.
And a third poster, by Holly and Libby, also shares some advice on good nutrition.
Thank you to all the Tollesbury School students who met us and took part!
