Residents of Braintree District, Chelmsford City and Maldon District now have more time to recognise the stars of their community who improve local people’s health and wellbeing. And it’s now easier to nominate them, too, with an online form.
Every year, NHS Mid Essex Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) celebrates local volunteering and front-line healthcare at its Marvels of Mid Awards. So whether if you have had brilliant support from a nurse at your GP surgery or benefited from a fantastic local voluntary service helping you to manage a long-term health condition, you now have until Saturday 7 September to put them forward.
There are 11 categories to choose from and an expert panel of judges will shortlist the top entries. To put your health hero forward for the MOMAs, just visit the CCG’s website at midessexccg.nhs.uk/get-involved/moma, where you can complete the online nomination form. You can also request a paper nomination form by calling 01245 459381.
All shortlisted nominees will be invited to this year’s MOMAs ceremony during the CCG’s Annual General Meeting on Thursday 26 September 2019, when the winners will be announced.
