How We Make Decisions
This page provides information on our public CCG Board meetings including future dates, attendance guidance and previous papers and minutes.
Public meetings of the Mid Essex CCG Board are held regularly and members of the public are welcome to attend and observe the meetings. Copies of the agenda and other papers are available seven days before the meeting. From time to time, the Board may need to consider agenda items which are confidential and cannot be discussed in public. If this is the case, a private session will be held at the meeting, from which the public will be excluded.

Here at Mid Essex CCG, we have a number of committees that report to the Board:

Patient and Public Involvement
We aspire to be a CCG that involves you in everything we do – from planning and commissioning (buying) services to developing our plans for future healthcare.
Members of the public are encouraged to attend Board meetings and are invited to submit questions to the Board in advance.

Public Consultations
We want to involve you - our patients and the local population - in the decisions we need to make about developing and commissioning (buying) the right healthcare.
One of the ways we do this is through consultation – a more formal way of gathering your views and opinions on proposals to change and shape services.
