What to do with your child’s sprains and strains this summer

The end of the school year is fast approaching so you’ll be planning lots to do for the little ones! With many children enjoying the weather outdoors or joining summer sport clubs, there are bound to be falls and slips resulting in sprains and strains. NHS Mid Essex Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is advising parents on how to make sure their child is properly prepared.

A new way of working for ambulance services will be implemented across the country to make sure patients get the right response, first time.

This is following the largest clinical ambulance trial in the world and will update a decades old system. The demand for ambulance services is increasing every year but despite this, the way ambulance care is provided has broadly stayed the same.

One of the several projects and initiatives to improve the health and wellbeing of residents across the Braintree District that James leads on is Greenfield’s Chair-Based Exercise (CBE). CBE consists of 22 prescribed exercises led by one of James’ qualified volunteer CBE leaders.
