Mid Essex Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) wants to recognise the hard work of individuals and organisations who are helping people in our area to Live Well in a brand new awards ceremony.
At its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 29 September 2016, the CCG is holding its first annual Marvels of Mid Awards (MOMA), celebrating people and organisations in the districts of Braintree, Maldon and the city of Chelmsford who have made a positive impact on the wellbeing of residents across our area and put patients, carers and residents at the heart of NHS care.
Mid Essex CCG Manager Director, Carol Anderson, said: “We want everyone in mid Essex to Live Well and there is already a lot of support for this goal in our communities. Do you know of someone, or a group, who helps transform people's health or makes outstanding contribution to improving health services? We would like to hear from you so we can properly recognise them.
“This is the first time the CCG has decided to deliver a community awards ceremony at the AGM and we cannot wait to read through all of the nominations. We want to hear from as many residents, health and care professionals and organisations across mid Essex as possible.”
Nominations are now open for the following categories:
- Primary Care Award
- Volunteer of the Year
- Celebrating Diversity Award
- Individual Participant of the Year
- Patient Participation Group (PPG) of the Year
- The Mid Essex Live Well Award
Nominations can be made via the CCG website or by contacting the CCG on 01376 531145 to request a nomination form. Nominees will all be invited to an awards ceremony at the Mid Essex CCG Annual General Meeting on 29 September, when the winners will be announced.
