Patient Stories

During our board meetings held in public, we invite patients to talk to us about their experiences of local health care – referred to as a ‘patient story’.

Patient stories are a powerful way of bringing experiences to life and making them accessible to other people. Our board listens to and focuses on the patients overall experience rather than just a clinical condition or as an outcome. These stories help to understand what is important to local people, what works well and what can be improved.
